The gourmet series “LINK” is going into the next round from 13. – 19. October 2015 with 3* Michelin Chef Emmanuel Renaut
If you are a lover of exquisite food, you should mark these dates in your calendar!
The successful premiere of the “LINK” culinary series will continue from 13th to 19th October 2015 in the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. Chef de Cuisine Anton Gschwendtner and guest chef Emmanuel Renaut, the three-Michelin-star head chef at gourmet restaurant Flocons de Sel in Megève, will delight guests with a six-course menu in the Munich luxury hotel’s DÉLICE La Brasserie restaurant.
This is Renaut’s first appearance in the Bavarian capital. His home is the Flocons de Sel restaurant in Megève, where he cooked his way to his third Michelin star in February 2012. Shortly afterwards, the father of three, author and winner of prestigious titles “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” and “Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux” was voted “Chef of the year” in France.
Emmanuel Renaut is the second French chef with three Michelin stars to guest chef for a week in Munich as part of the “LINK” culinary series. It all began with Christophe Muller, Paul Bocuse’s successor and chef de cuisine at the world-famous Auberge du Pont de Collonges in Lyon since 2011. In February 2016, the exclusive culinary series will enter into the third round with another high-profile Michelin-starred chef.
This culinary series impressively highlights the five star hotel’s pioneering role as an ambassador of French culture. Katja Herrmann, Hotel Manager at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost, is thrilled about the second edition of “LINK“: “The name Emmanuel Renaut is firmly connected with exquisite, creative cooking. The star is always the produce on the plate. And it is this approach that’s so vital to Anton Gschwendtner and his team in DÉLICE La Brasserie, too. We are very pleased to be able to successfully continue our “LINK” series with Emmanuel Renaut.
At lunchtimes, from 13th to 19th October 2015, guests in DÉLICE La Brasserie can choose à la carte from the six courses. The two chefs worked closely together to develop the menu. The third course will be exclusively prepared by Anton Gschwendtner. In the evening, the six-course menu is available for €129. Markus Hirschler, the restaurant sommelier at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost, will suggest the perfect wines to accompany the courses.
